Some great vegetables you can have on the side are corn, cucumbers, red or green peppers and broccoli. They supply you with vitamins and minerals and speed up your metabolic rate that makes you lose weight faster.

Secondly, you need to get that heart pumping. Doing some cardio-vascular exercises like running or walking on a daily basis is necessary to burn fat. You can do other things besides running. Playing sport is a great idea. I used to play racquetball which apart from being fun also gives you a nice workout. But there’s no pressure if you don’t like sports. There are other options, like the treadmill for example.

Thirdly, you need some exercises that will tone your body and help you build muscle mass. They can be simple free hand exercises like push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups. These three add shape to your body and burn fat. Eventually you will want to get into the gym and do some light weight lifting to strengthen your muscles.

The last thing that you must do is to make a schedule and set some workable goals. It is very satisfying when you achieve one of the targets you have set for yourself.
