			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Whether you&#8217;ve recently had a baby, or you just don&#8217;t have the time, motivation or money to get to the gym every day &#8211; there are ways to fight that flab, and maybe with some of my suggestions here, you might learn how to lose extra fat. </p>
<p>Extra fat is normally caused by over eating (or eating the &#8216;wrong&#8217; foods) and lack of exercise.  If you&#8217;re eating more calories than what you burn off during your usual everyday activities, then the surplus calories are stored in your body as fat.  I think it&#8217;s important to understand the reasons for this extra fat so that it then becomes easier to understand how to lose extra fat. </p>
<p>The first and best advice I have, and this is from my own personal experience &#8211; is to drink heaps of water &#8211; it&#8217;s true, water really is the key to weight loss.  I&#8217;m talking about 2 litres of water a day!  Yep, it means you&#8217;ll be going to the bathroom more than normal, however, that doesn&#8217;t last too long.  What is really happening is that your body is flushing itself of the water it has been storing throughout all those years of &#8220;survival mode&#8221;. It&#8217;s getting rid of all the stored water around your ankles, hips, thighs and maybe even your belly!  So it&#8217;s a great thing and if you endure the initial extra bathroom trips for the first while, then eventually the &#8216;flushing&#8217; will cease and you will return to normal. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to note &#8211; do not drink all the water at once.  Set aside 3-4 times a day when you can drink a large glass, and then in-between that, always have a bottle of water with you to sip as you need. </p>
<p>Now, while drinking water isn&#8217;t the easiest or nicest thing to do at first, believe me &#8211; you do get used to it. Since marrying my husband 6 years ago, I became addicted to Coca Cola &#8211; it was the first thing I drank in the morning and then throughout the day!  Seriously, I loved the stuff!  I still do.  However, when I stopped drinking it &#8211; for the first few days, yes I did crave it &#8211; and at those times I would take a sip of my husbands coke, but I soon got used to my bottled water, and now that&#8217;s pretty much all I drink!  Since doing that, my husband has really inspired me with the compliments that come my way now from him!  It&#8217;s those sort of things that are great motivators &#8211; when people notice you are looking better and losing weight. </p>
<p>So &#8211; drink water, cut down the bad stuff &#8211; you don&#8217;t need to fully stop eating it, there&#8217;s nothing wrong with little treats &#8211; but all in moderation.  Ensure that you are having plenty of fresh fruit and veges and just exercise a little. You don&#8217;t need to be a hard out &#8216;gym bunny&#8217; &#8211; we don&#8217;t all have that kind of money.  But even if you go for a walk after work, or take the kids out to the park &#8211; walk, don&#8217;t drive.  Take the stairs instead of the lift.  Walk to the local shops instead of driving.  If you have stairs at home &#8211; run up them instead of walking.  All these things put together will help you out.   </p>
<p>The statistics on our health in general are alarmingly scary: *	64% of people are overweight in the US *	48% of people in Europe are overweight *	27% of Americans are classified as obese *	Obesity is responsible for over 325,000 deaths every year *	300 million people worldwide are obese *	750 million people worldwide are overweight </p>
<p>Time to stop this and get on the path of looking good and feeling good &#8211; so that YOUR husband/partner can say that YOU have a &#8220;popstar butt&#8221;!!!  </p>

<p>It is the truth: Age discrimination is a fact of life in the corporate world. </p>
<p>The once handsome and debonair faces are drooping and that double chin is winning. The once beautiful face is amassing jowls and the resemblance to mother is developing. </p>
<p>This can be the poison pill in the corporate world because old faces can equate to old ideas. For more than twenty years psychologists and HR personnel studies demonstrate that appearance has a great deal to do with making more money and maintaining the status quo. </p>
<p>If you have experienced age discrimination, it&#8217;s all about the face because no one looks at your knees and tells you you&#8217;re too old, you may want to consider making simple lifestyle changes now before one or two incidents escalate into a serious matter. </p>
<p>There are only a few options when someone doesn’t like your face or your face does not support who you are: </p>
<p>• You can take your two or three week vacation, schedule a surgical procedure in hopes that by the time you are needed back at work, the healing of tissue and bruising will not be tell-tale evidence of your surgery. </p>
<p>• Fill your face with fillers to prop up lines and wrinkles and paralyze your forehead and the region around your eyes. </p>
<p>• Have strings inserted to temporarily hold up heavy cheeks and jowls. </p>
<p>Surgery and non-invasive procedures that involve injecting substances into your face, near your eyes and mouth may initially produce a younger looking face but you must ask yourself, &#8220;How many years do I have to do this?&#8221; </p>
<p>Is there sufficient testing of the substances to allay your fears of self-poisoning? What if these substances go the way of Vioxx, Rezulin or Seldane? These are only three of numerous drugs that have been removed after years of use when detrimental side-effects are known. This could indeed happen to injectable cosmetic fluids. Scary indeed. It is a fact that about half of new drugs are removed from the market or have significant warnings added to their labels within seven years of release. </p>
<p>The nip/tuck mentality has permeated the airwaves, slick publications and now the internet. Years past only those who were affected by accident or disease would consider having face work and that was in a medical capacity; now, even teenagers are targeted and marketed so they will adopt ideas into their psyche and words into their vocabulary that somehow makes it all okay for them to use plastic surgery and injections to alter themselves. </p>

<p>As a mature adult, looking healthier and younger is important and you do not have to risk your life to make it happen when you choose exercise over surgery and injections. </p>

Pumping up your face with fillers and paralyzers year after year is an interesting concept and then supplementing with various surgical procedures may produce strange and freaky results. </p>
<p>That&#8217;s why exercise is beneficial for every face because you know what the outcome will be – you will look like you – like you did ten to fifteen years ago. </p>
<p>Sagging facial muscles means droopy skin because the muscles no longer have any oomph to them. Exercise will oxygenate the muscles and that helps your skin to look younger and alive. Lifting is noticeable almost immediately as the skin and muscles are enhanced with exercise. </p>

When you gain weight, you&#8217;ll notice that your cheeks get fatter, your faces becomes more round, and you might get that slight extra roll underneath your chin. And the only way to get rid of any unwanted fat on your face is through healthy diet and exercise. </p>
<p>In order to lose weight, you will need to eat less calories than you expend. And that probably entails eating a lesser amount of carbohydrates and fats than you are used to. But don&#8217;t worry, it&#8217;s really not that difficult to eat a healthy diet consistently and not feel hungry all the time. </p>
<p>You can determine how many calories you expend every day with your age and height. There are simple charts you can use that will give you the answer. Eating less than that amount will force your body to shed the pounds. Your body needs to burn energy to survive, and if you&#8217;re not going to give it enough food, it&#8217;s going to have to get it from somewhere. Why not let it use the fat stores on your face! </p>
<p>A general diet composition should consist of approximately 50% carbohydrates, 30% protein (lean meat, chicken, fish) and 20% from healthy unsaturated fats (flax seed oil, avocado, fish oil). </p>
<p>Along with a healthy diet, you can speed up the process of burning fat with exercise. It is certainly possible to lose weight through diet alone, but combining exercise with a healthy diet will vastly increase the rate at which you lose weight, and you&#8217;ll look and feel much healthier to boot! </p>
<p>Try to aim for some form of exercise, whether it be aerobic or resistance training or both, 3 to 4 times a week for 30 minutes or more each day. That will you will be burning calories and raising your metabolism to optimum levels in order to burn some serious fat&#8230; even while you&#8217;re at rest! Strength training will also aid your fat burning by building up your muscles &#8212; stronger muscles require more energy, and that means more fat that needs burning. </p>
<p>Below are some exercises that should help you to lose fat from your face by strengthening your facial muscles. You can use a mirror to make sure you are performing them properly. </p>
<p>The Areas Around Your Eyes </p>
<p>Close your eyes and relax. Look up and then down as far as you can. Then repeat that 10 times. Next, keeping your eyes close, stretch your eyebrows up as far as you can, hold it, and count to 5. Then relax, and repeat the eyebrow stretch 5 times. Now, open your eyes, look up, and then look down (your head should remain fixed). Do that 10 times, then do the same thing by looking left and right 10 times. </p>
<p>The Frown </p>
<p>Make a frown, and try to squeeze your eyebrows down over your eyes. Next, raise your eyebrows up as far as you can with your eyes open as wide as possible. Do that 5 times. Then, lie down on your back on your bed, and hang your head off the edge. Lift your eyebrows as high as you can with your eyes open as wide as possible again. Relax, and then repeat that 10 times. Then, sit up and crunch your eyebrows down over your eyes, squeeze your nose up while trying to flare your nostrils and hold it for 10 seconds. Relax, and then repeat it 5 times!. </p>
<p>Stick Out Your Tongue </p>
<p>Stick the tip of your tongue out and suck in your cheeks. Maintain that expression for a few seconds and then relax. Next, push your lower lip on top of your upper lip and try to touch your nose (with your lower lip). While you smile as wide as possible, try and touch the tip of your nose with your tongue. </p>
<p>These exercises may seem silly, but they are strenuously working your face muscles. And working any muscles will burn calories and fat. Although losing weight takes time to notice results, if you stick to a plan you will achieve the look you want. </p>

<p>Finally, fitness mania is now complete with the acceptance of facial exercise as a bone fide alternative to facial plastic surgery that helps every person over the age of 25 look years younger. It’s about time, after all, for the face to be included in every exercise routine because the face has muscles just like the rest of the body. </p>
<p>Watch out, plastic surgeons! Cynthia Rowland is on a mission to make certain every man and woman over knows their face can be saved with resistance exercises that will lift tone and tighten every area of the face. </p>
<p>We see aging in our faces when nasal labial folds develop between our nose and mouth or maybe it’s a double chin that tells the world you’re aging. <p>Chances are if you are over the age of 35, you are beginning to notice slight sagging in certain areas of your face and neck; this probably has caused you to think about the remedies that are available to keep you looking younger. </p>
<p>Using injections is an option; however, injections are temporary, they cost a lot of money, the needles and serum inflict pain and they only work in a limited way. Plumping up nose to mouth lines when your chin is sagging or using muscle paralyzing toxins in your forehead when your eye lids are heavy is a complete waste of your resources. </p>
<p>Surgery can certainly hike up those eyebrows and provide the ever popular wind-tunnel look when loose skin is swept upward toward the ear. <p>No matter that these injections can create additional wrinkles when the face is made to act unnaturally or that you might have adverse long-term reactions. </p>
<p>Exercise is natural and that means that your body stays safe. Using only your fingers and thumbs while wearing white cotton gloves, specialized movements can easily give sagging facial muscles new life and vitality. Just as you use exercise to keep your body sleek and toned, you can exercise your facial muscles. </p>
<p>Learning to artfully and successfully alter the shape and contour of your face when it is currently misshapen and spongy requires that you exercise only minutes a day. In the privacy of your home, you can take control of the aging process and make yourself look younger! Sagging in the face, just like sagging in the body, is a result of muscle atrophy. Muscle atrophy is a result of disuse of the muscles; even though you have laughed, smiled, grimaced and frowned, these movements do not stop the muscles from elongation. Gravity continually tugs at all our muscles – we see the result in our arms, thighs and buttocks; and, we see it in our faces. <p>The simple version includes: </p>

<p>This includes anything from eating more of something to eating less of something and is the first and easiest step to getting rid of fat, this is only a basic guide to be followed, please consult my blog for more detailed help on diet change. </p>
<p>2. General Physical exercise and; </p>
<p>This is a little harder than just changing your diet, it requires some motivation but anything with any wish to lose weight can plan and exercise a fitness plan. This physical exercise is an absolute neccessity which I discuss in more detail on my blog. </p>
<p>3. Targeted exercises specific to the area you would like to remove fat. </p>
<p>This is for the problem areas that you continually have trouble with, including double chins (chin double), flabby triceps, jelly belly and of course those dreaded love handles. </p>
<p>4. Continuing this plan with help from my blog is a surefire way to remove weight, consider setting up a routine for your exercises and plan out your weekly meals once a week if possible, its not hard to eat and exercise well but you just have to take the commitment to get going. </p>

<p>But getting rid of face fat and puffy cheeks are also on the agenda for some of us. Who would not want to get a perfect photo at any angle? Many people out there go through dangerous surgery just to get higher cheekbones, sharper jaw line and the dreaded double chin. </p>
<p>To be honest, having a double chin is not an indication that you have a very low body fat. The reason this article is written is to feed you some information on how to face fat and get rid of the double chin naturally. I definitely do not want my readers going through that dangerous plastic surgery. It is just crazy. </p>
<p>Lets tackle the first main obvious reason on how to lose face fat. The first that you would want to do is to get your body fat down to about 14 to 16 percent. That is a good mark and a goal to set. Whenever my I have a body fat percentage of 14 percent, my face will look sharp and believe or not, no double chin. </p>
<p>To get to that level is not difficult, you need to exercise with weights and weight training. Do 2 session of intense weight training and a minimum of 3 session of intense cardiovascular training using HITT concept. HITT means high intensity interval training for your cardiovascular training. Why intense, so that you can benefit from the effects of EPOC which boost your metabolism even 16 hours after your training. </p>
<p>The next method that you would want to try is to reduce your salt intake. Puffy cheeks and face fat can be the effect from water retention. High intake of salt can encourage your body to store water. If you do not believe me, try eating a whole packet of chips at night and take a look in the mirror in the morning. Your face will definitely be puffier. </p>
<p>The third way to lose face fat is to avoid drinking too much water right before you sleep. This is true. This not only affects your cheeks but also it makes your eyes puffy too! </p>
<p>Enjoying moments in sauna would be your next step to lose face fat. Yes, sauna can help you get rid of the water retention and make body store less water that it does not need. Of course after being in the sauna for 20 minuets, drink up loads of water, just make sure not right before you sleep. </p>
<p>The fifth way to lose face fat is to get a tan. Yes, a fabulous golden tan does not only make you look leaner, it helps get rid of lots of water retention. Notice that beach boys have very sharp features! This happens for a reason. </p>

The point is that the face is very important and that is also why so many people are looking for ways to lose face fat. Any weight loss will show on the face first and when people look at your face, they will straight away notice changes. Plus, influences from the media and the entertaining world also create an impact on how a pretty or sexy face should look like. If you just would flip through the magazines, the faces of the models are all very slim and well defined with high cheekbones, sharp nose and a lean face.<br />

Before we move on to that, lets understand that there is no such thing a spot reduction. If you want to lose face fat, you have to begin with losing weight. This means losing excess water retention and also losing body fat. Usually, when a person loses weight, it is very noticeable that his face also gets sharper and leaner. Usually the face will slim down first because excess water is gone. Follow these simple steps to lose weight and you will get a lean, healthy and toned face.<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 1: Drink lots of water.<br />
You have to drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Drink at least nine 8-ounce glasses of water a day. Drink more than that if you are an active person and always exposed to the sun. The thing is our body has a natural protective system. When you do not drink enough water, the body will naturally think that you are stranded in a dessert and have not enough water. As a result, it will store as much water as it can to keep you living and there is when you will get bloated. Vice versa, if you drink enough water, the body will flush out all the unnecessary water because it knows that the system has enough water. Stick to plain water. Sodas and sugared drink would not help because they contain sugar and will lead to bloating too.<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 2: Do not forget your fruits and vegetables!<br />
Stay natural and eat at least three servings of fruits and three servings of vegetables every day. This will not only fill you up with less calories and help you stay way from junk food, fruits and vegetables also contains water that can help you stay hydrated. Plus, they are filled with fiber that gives many health benefits. Make your self a healthy fruit salad for snack instead of a chocolate bar. Choose your fruits carefully though; control the amount of bananas, grapes and pineapples because they are high in fructose. Go for apples, oranges, all sorts of berries and grapefruit because they are low GI carbs and they packed full with anti oxidants.<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 3: Reduce the alcohol<br />
It does not matter what alcohol you drink. Wine, brandy or beer, alcohol is still alcohol. Alcohol can cause a good amount of bloating in the body because it really dehydrates the body. It can also add inches in you belly and under your chin because one gram of alcohol contains seven calories! That is almost like drinking fat! A five ounce glass of wine has 100 calories, that means a little drinking a little bit can add inches in your waist.<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 4: Bump up the calcium<br />
A lot of studies have proven that taking at least 1200 milligrams of calcium from dairy if possible daily can help in fat loss. There is also a study that showed that half of the females in that study experienced reduced symptoms of PMS including water retention after consuming 1200 milligrams of calcium. So, do not eliminate dairy in your diet, have some in moderation.<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 5: Calories out more than calories in.<br />
This is the golden rule of fat loss. In order to lose weight, you have burn more calories than you consume. So, the easy and healthy way to do this is to burn 250 calories and reduce 250 calories from your food intake. The reason to reduce 500 calories a day is because we need to hit a reduction of 3500 calories a week and that will result to healthy recommended weight loss of one pound of body fat per week.<br />
To burn 250 calories, just go for a simple walk or jog for 30 to 40 minutes. To reduce 250 calories, just eliminate all the junk food and excess fatty foods from your diet right now and I am sure you can reduce 250 calories. Eat healthy and eat with a mind to feed your muscles and body with good fuel!<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 6: Control Your Salt Intake<br />
Salt is another culprit of water retention. That is why when you snack with junk food that is high in sodium, you will feel every thirsty and your face will bloat up the next day. Avoid foods like pizza, burgers, junk food, chips and other similar foods because they are loaded with salt! When eating out, be careful of the gravy, some gravy use a lot of salt. Eat home and prepare your own food when ever possible! Sprinkle your salt, do not use your spoon, that way you can really control the amount of salt that goes into your food!<br />
Lose Face Fat Step 7: Go For Weight Training<br />
You have to weight train to maintain and increase lean muscle tissue. With more muscles packed in your body, your metabolism will increase and you can burn more calories and fat! Plus, with more muscles in your body, you can burn more calories while you do your cardio and even while rest because muscles are living tissues and require calories to function and survive! For optimum fat loss results and to lose fat on your face, you have to diet, do your cardio and also weight train.<br />
So, if you want to lose fat on your face, the main objective is to lose weight. By losing body fat, you will look much leaner and have a much more cut features because fat and water under the skin is reduced.<br />
So follow these simple steps and get on a fat loss program now. Mark my words; if you manage to lose body fat until your desired body fat, your face will look much leaner and thinner. Even your nose will look sharper! </p>
