How to Get Rid of a Double Chin. No Fluff Here, Just What Works!

So you want to learn how to get rid of a double chin? I don’t blame you. Double chins are terrible. Back in the day, I used to be very overweight so I know all too well what it’s like. It’s uncomfortable, it’s embarrassing – and you can literally feel it as soon as you tilt your head downwards.
Before I go any further, I’ll introduce myself. My name is Bill, I’m a certified personal trainer and I’ve been working with clients for over a decade. I’ve heard it all, I’ve seen it all – at least that’s what I thought.
The other day I was working with an overweight client who constantly chews gum. I mentioned that she should spit it out since I didn’t want her choking during the workout and she told me that she was chewing the gum to lose the fat under her chin.
Apparently she came across an article on how to get rid of a double chin online which said that chewing gum is a legit solution. She sent me the article – which needless to say was laughable.
After reading the article she gave me, I was inspired to write one of my own. You want the truth about how to get rid of a double chin? Well – here it is! And unfortunately, it’s more complicated than just chewing gum.
The First Thing You Need To Know..
You Can’t Spot Reduce!
What this means is that you can’t lose fat off just a targeted area. In this case, chewing gum to lose the fat under your chin – that’s ridiculous. What do you think would be more effective in terms of fat loss – chewing gum for 30 minutes or jogging on the treadmill for 30 minutes?
Obviously, it’s more beneficial to run on the treadmill because it burns more calories and that’s the ultimate goal when it comes to losing weight – creating a calorie deficit. Which brings us to the next tip.
Focus On Larger Muscle Groups!
Don’t waste you valuable time training small muscle groups. Focus on the exercises that are the hardest to perform. You know – the ones you hate. The ones that make you want to quit. These are the best exercises when it comes to losing weight because they burn the most calories.
Fix Your Diet
You want to learn how to get rid of a double chin – this is how! It’s fairly obvious. You know you should eat better. You know you should eat frequent portions of nutrient dense meals to boost your metabolism.
You’re heard it all before. The problem is, I don’t think you – or most people who are struggling with their weight – know exactly how to fix their diets. You know a change has to be made but you don’t know how to make the changes.
You need help. It’s alright to admit that. Say it with me like it’s an alcoholics anonymous meeting – I..Need..Help! Great, that’s the first step. The next step is to get yourself a professionally designed nutrition plan and follow it! Get one that keeps things simple, offers freedom with your meals and of course, get one that doesn’t promise you the world.
Remember, if it sounds to good to be true – it usually is. Don’t be a sucker! Use common sense. You’re not going to lose 15 pounds in less than 2 weeks and even if you do, you’re just going to gain it all back and end up fatter than what you started anyway.
