The Areas Around Your Eyes

Close your eyes and relax. Look up and then down as far as you can. Then repeat that 10 times. Next, keeping your eyes close, stretch your eyebrows up as far as you can, hold it, and count to 5. Then relax, and repeat the eyebrow stretch 5 times. Now, open your eyes, look up, and then look down (your head should remain fixed). Do that 10 times, then do the same thing by looking left and right 10 times.

The Frown

Make a frown, and try to squeeze your eyebrows down over your eyes. Next, raise your eyebrows up as far as you can with your eyes open as wide as possible. Do that 5 times. Then, lie down on your back on your bed, and hang your head off the edge. Lift your eyebrows as high as you can with your eyes open as wide as possible again. Relax, and then repeat that 10 times. Then, sit up and crunch your eyebrows down over your eyes, squeeze your nose up while trying to flare your nostrils and hold it for 10 seconds. Relax, and then repeat it 5 times!.

Stick Out Your Tongue

Stick the tip of your tongue out and suck in your cheeks. Maintain that expression for a few seconds and then relax. Next, push your lower lip on top of your upper lip and try to touch your nose (with your lower lip). While you smile as wide as possible, try and touch the tip of your nose with your tongue.

These exercises may seem silly, but they are strenuously working your face muscles. And working any muscles will burn calories and fat. Although losing weight takes time to notice results, if you stick to a plan you will achieve the look you want.

Their are several options to getting rid of double chins and unwanted fat. The majority collaborate with each either to form a perfect healthy option.

The simple version includes:

This includes anything from eating more of something to eating less of something and is the first and easiest step to getting rid of fat, this is only a basic guide to be followed, please consult my blog for more detailed help on diet change.

This is a little harder than just changing your diet, it requires some motivation but anything with any wish to lose weight can plan and exercise a fitness plan. This physical exercise is an absolute neccessity which I discuss in more detail on my blog.

This is for the problem areas that you continually have trouble with, including double chins (chin double), flabby triceps, jelly belly and of course those dreaded love handles.

4. Continuing this plan with help from my blog is a surefire way to remove weight, consider setting up a routine for your exercises and plan out your weekly meals once a week if possible, its not hard to eat and exercise well but you just have to take the commitment to get going.

How to Get Rid of Double Chin, Tighten Sagging Face Muscles

C. A. Sampson, an athlete and the author of “Strength,” discovered that the pressure of bands or straps tightly fastened around the arms during exercise speedily increased the size of the muscles. Experimenting, in my efforts to discover the reason why, I found that this pressure during the alternate contraction and relaxations of the muscles, produced a determination of the blood to that point and therefore a distention of the vessels. Consequently, an enlargement of the structure occurs, just as a sponge will enlarge when its cells are filled with water. Acting upon this idea I substituted the pressure of the palms of the hands for Sampson’s bands, and found that in this way the results were the same.

Exercise for Sagging Face Muscles

The muscles of the cheeks could be speedily enlarged by the following simple exercise, which I practice while lying on my back: Draw up both corners of the mouth towards the eyes, or in the position of an exaggerated smile. This will bunch up those supporting muscles on the upper part of the cheekbones immediately below the corners of the eyes. Now drop the chin to its utmost extent. This will place a further tension upon the cheek supporting muscles.

In this position, that is, keeping them bunched up, alternately open and close the jaws, at the same time steadily massage, or rub with the palms of the hands. This will infallibly enlarge them. The logical reason behind this statement is that the overlying skin and the well-supported tissue will give the cheeks the rounded appearance of earlier years.

How to Get Rid of a Double Chin: The Double Chin Exercise

The muscles of the chin may be classed as involuntary and can only be developed by massage. But they usually respond more quickly to that process than the muscles that surround the eye.

Rest the chin upon the palms of your hands, press firmly and rub the underlying muscles vigorously. This is the same method for the muscles surrounding the eye, but requiring more pressure.

The position of the hands should be continually shifted. If continuous pressure is maintained upon any part without relaxation, development will be slow. Change positions, as I have suggested. If your chin was ever full and round in your younger years, that condition will be regained by persistent practice.

There will also be an increase in color of the cheeks and a generally improved and more youthful appearance. When I was 50, my cheeks and chin were sunken but now, at 72, they are full and rounded. This is the result of the persistent practice of the exercise I have described. It is proven not to cause lines on the face and will develop the supporting muscles of your cheeks.

The first thing I would like to do is congratulate you on taking the first step to improving your health and ridding yourself of that extra skin that hangs down from your neck known as the “double chin.” That first step is realizing there is a problem and doing something about it.

I’m sure you are wondering what causes the double chin. For one it could be Excess body weight. You could be storing extra fat under your chin. Water retention is another cause you could be what are known as a water retainer. Take a look at your parents and other members of your family. Do they have double chins? If they do your double chin could be a hereditary disposition. Are you an older person? Age could be finally catching up with you and you could be experiencing the normal signs of aging. The reason behind your double chin could be any of these factors. But enough about how it’s caused let’s get to how to remove it.

One of the options many people do is liposuction. Of course you can go this rout, but that involves a lot of painful surgery and some pretty steep doctors bills. However, this is a very popular and almost sure-fire way of ridding yourself of your double chin. If you would rather do it yourself then you have come to the right place. I’m going to give you some basic steps and exercises that will show results.

The second step is set a goal. Most people will try the steps I’m providing and not see a result after 1-2 days sometimes even a week and then give up. This obviously is not going to work, you need to set goals on what kind of foods you be eating, or how many times a day you will exercise and for how long. You have to have this kind of mindset or you are already setting yourself up for failure.

The third step is diet and exercise, it is crucial that if you are to eliminate your double chin your food choices need to be better and you need to get out and do some walking, running, any kind of physical activity that will break a sweat and get your body active. Also make sure to drink 8 cups of water per day; it is essential to remain hydrated. Recommended food would be fruit, vegetables, nuts, chicken breast, and try to stay away from calorie rich process food. It turns into fat and the body refuses to burn it.

A few exercises I have found that work is for 2-5 minutes per day – Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth so the under-chin tightens. Then proceed to tighten the tong, relax, tighten the tongue, and relax. Do this and you should eventually see results.
